Do you have CorelDraw and want to learn some of the “basics,” like how to setup the workspace to help you produce your graphics? Want to see how the tools work and how to change different options? We recently had a great webinar covering these topics and many more! Steven Jackson from Imprintables Warehouse showed our viewers how to manage CorelDraw, set up the workspace,  and make the most from all the tools available.

Several of the attendees had questions about whether the information in the webinar was specific to a certain version of Corel. The webinar was made to be cross-platform, from Corel 12 to the most current version of Corel X5. The principles and tools work in earlier versions also but may not have the same interface.

Another question that came up was how to fill an object with a pattern. In the video Steve shows how to use both the power clip feature and the custom fill feature in Corel to achieve a custom pattern fill for text and objects. This same principle can be applied to placing a picture into an object to create one-of-a-kind graphics that can be printed and applied.

If you want to learn more about CorelDraw, please join us for the next webinar on June 16th – “CorelDraw Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts!
