The wedding planning is still progressing and I’ve been able to put together several designs and ideas I will be using for my wedding items from the previous blog, “Custom Printing for Weddings – Part 1”. Since I’m not an artist or designer, I relied on supplied layouts that can be customized using the Easy Prints® Idea Book which has plenty of designs and clip art that can be used to create a design that goes well with my wedding. I also wanted to add a personal touch to each of the items while sticking with the traditional wedding decorations that many brides ask for such as the word “Bridesmaid” on a t shirt.
While flipping through the hundreds of designs from the Idea Book I decided to use a swirly, natural looking design, (QAL-434) as the main design. I am able to take any of the components of the layout and customize the pieces. This design can be used for basically all of the items needed. It can be used on a zip-up hoodie, tote bag, koozie, etc.
To add a personalized touch to the zip-up hoodie or the tote bag, the bridesmaid’s initials can be imprinted using a simple line of text and the same typestyle that was used in the layout to keep the look consistent. I just have to list out the words or initials needed, along with the size and forward it to a Dealer Services Representative to process the order. They helped figure out how many I can fit on 1 transfer sheet and the best way to order. I also decided to make the designs really stand out by using a Heat Transfer Foil.
The design for the sign, the window cling for the limo and the sticker for the favors will all come from components of the same layout. Here’s an example of what they will look like. I will share the photos for the favor boxes and the direction sign once completed for the wedding. I can’t show you everything!

This layout was simplified by removing the splatter clip art behind the swirls and the flower in the corner.
Now that I have all of the design ideas that I want to use for the wedding items, this week I will place the orders for the apparel and designs and share the application process.
