We are frequently asked which heat applied products can be mixed together to create unique designs or fix a fabric dilemma such as nylon or stretchy materials that need a particular product for staying power. Join our 3 part series, where we will mix letters and numbers together, such as Thermo-FILM® onto Thermo-GRIP to adhere to nylon, or see how embroiderers are applying Thermo-FLOCK® onto Poly-Twill™ and then sewing. What is you have a transfer, from Transfer Express®, and want to place a number within the design – how do you do this without harming the transfer? If you have screen printed t-shirts, and need to put a player’s name and number on the back, can you really heat over the screen print or do you need to split the shirt and “dress” the platen? You might have inventory, of different heat applied products, and always wondered if you could mix a few of them together since you already have them on hand. We will go step by step and show you how to cut corners, save money, and create unique apparel decorations with each part of our series.
