When heat printing, it’s important to have a flat, even surface so the transfer is applied with direct and even temperature and pressure. Some garments are made with heavy seams, buttons, snaps or zippers that prevent that flat surface.

Use a teflon pillow on the inside of the garment so the seams, buttons and snaps can sink into the foam, creating an even surface to help your heat press evenly apply your transfer.
