The video played must have been operator error. What is the washability of the foil? Who carries it until Stahl’s does? No opaque exact print in the works?
The foil is the same foil that is used for Screenprinting. The washability will be similar and you can purchase it from most screenprint ink suppliers. I am uncertain of Stahls’ ID’s plan for an opaque Exactprint but I will pass along your request.
Thanks for the great question. I checked the recommended printer list for the Exactprint and it seems as though all of the printers use powder based toners. However, you can contact a customer service representative at Stahls’ ID (1-800-478-2457) and request a product sample to test in your printer.
Somewhere in this 3-part series, it was mentioned that HP is not a good laser printer to use for transfer papers. Could you please explain why. I was just given an HP 2840 color laserjet and was all excited that I would be able to do the transfers until I watched this webinar series. Thanks for the info. Please continue with your informative webinars. I am learning so much, even though I do not yet own all of the equipment referred to in some of your webinars. But, everyone needs a wish list.
This is a great question, the reason is that HP uses a different type of heating element than other laser printers and that element will not work well with any type of fuser papers. There are inkjet papers that you could use with an inkjet printer in the meantime.
let me know when this is on line I missed most of the 3rd part on Dec 2

Thank you
My laser used the wax type blocks will this new laser transfer work with my laser or does it have to be the powder style?
