Applying a left chest custom transfer to apparel can be tricky if you try to just eye it up.  Too often the print is placed too far under the arm area, because when your shirt is laying flat on your heat presss’ platen it gives a different perception than when actually worn.

A quick reference for your vertical center is the line from the seam where the neck and arm seam meet. To judge horizontal center, imagine a line running across the bottom seams of the arm. This is the area your custom transfer should be placed. If doing women’s shirts, you can move the print up slightly.

Using these quick reference points will give your prints perfect placement every time!
